Most of our donors make a donation to the general scholarship fund, which is combined with other donations to make camp possible for the maximum number of recipients. We do our best to match grants with need… all camp families contribute at least something, and many contribute a substantial percentage of the cost of camp. Your donation to the general fund is likely to help several needy campers. For privacy reasons, we do not publicly identify scholarship recipients, but details are available to board members.
You may also make a donation in honor of, or in memory of, a friend or loved one. If you give us appropriate contact information, we will (if you wish) let them or their family know of your generosity and thoughtfulness.
Please note that a donation in memory of any individual still goes to the general fund, but is earmarked in the honorees name.
We are occasionally asked if a donation can be applied to a specific named camper, but this is not permitted by the IRS.
To make your donation, please go to the Donate page, or click "Donate", below.
One camper each summer will attend June Camp on scholarship in memory of Simon Everett, 1983 to 2014, a fun loving, outgoing young man who took time away from his career each summer to be on staff at June Camp, and always donated his salary to scholarships. An active board member of the Frank and Calla Bell Scholarship Foundation, Simon epitomized the concept of helping others and taking time to have fun, especially with kids. Many who knew him have donated in his memory.

Donations have been made in recent years in honor of a number of well remembered camp alums, and you are of course welcome to donate in their memory... or in that of any other name you wish. If you would like to request that a deceased alum be listed here as a potential honoree, we are happy to do so. Names can be listed for three years, then may be removed to make space for others.
Recent honorees include...
Elisa Hammack, 1957 to 2015, Dallas, TX, camper and staff member at Green Cove many years in the seventies through the nineties.
Morgan Anderson, 1960 to 2009, Jacksonville, FL, Mondamin camper and counselor in the '70's and '80's, passed away from cancer in 2009.
Courtland Smith, 1988 to 2009, Houston, TX, Mondamin camper and counselor 1998 through 2009.
Benjamin George Massony, 2014 to 2016, son of Richard Massony and Stefanie Vuori Massony. Richard is a former Mondamin camper; he and Stefanie met as Mondamin counselors. Benjamin would have been a Mondamin camper. It is his family's wish that donations be made to facilitate scholarships so that future boys are able to create wonderful memories at the camp.
